Welcome to the GastroPlus®X User Guide. The GastroPlus®X User Guide provides detailed tutorials to help you learn how to use GastroPlus®X (GPX™) in drug discovery and development efficiently and effectively.
Conventions used in the guide
The GastroPlus®X Tutorials uses the following conventions:
A new term, or term that must be emphasized for clarity of procedures, is italicized.
Because you can view the guide online, information that appears in blue is a hyperlink. Table of Contents entries are also hyperlinks. Click the hyperlink to advance to the referenced information.
Buttons are described based on color and shape in this guide, assuming that the user is in Dark Mode (with the exception of those noted as Light Mode). Specifically, green buttons in Dark Mode appear as gray in Light Mode.
Results may be slightly different than those displayed in screen captures.
Assumptions for the guide
The GastroPlus®X User Guide assumes that:
You are familiar with Windows-based applications and basic Windows functions and navigational elements.
References to any third-party standards or third-party software functions were current as of the release of this version of GastroPlus® and might have already changed.

In addition to this Preface, the GastroPlus®X User Guide contains the following sections:
GPX™ Core Functionality: Panel and Sub-Panel Inputs and Options, provides an overview of important considerations about the panels and sub-panels within the core views for a GPX™ project while detailing the inputs and options for all views. These views are on the left-hand side of the workspace.
Optional Modules: Panel and Sub-Panel Inputs and Options, provides information about the inputs and options for GPX™’s optional modules. These modules appear on the right-hand side of the interface and require additional licensing.
Additional Dosage Routes Guide, provides information about the inputs and options for the additional dosage routes available in GPX™. These dosage routes require additional licensing.
