AssessmentsPlus™ Tutorial: AssessmentsPlus™AI
AssessmentsPlus™AI leverages our tuned LLM to organize and enhance the advice, based on the embedded expert knowledge, from GastroPlus®. There are sections per feedback type organized by mechanism and with additional plots to increase understanding and explain the pearls of wisdom from GastroPlus®. The recommendations are clearly grouped together and include the ability to interact with the chatbot to answer any questions about the recommendations and generate clear step-by-step instructions for implementation.
In this tutorial, we will cover:
Absorption Assessment to improve the fit using AssessmentsPlus™AI
Open GPX™ and, in the Dashboard view, click on the icon next to Select to open an Existing project.
Click on Browse and navigate to the C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Simulations Plus, Inc\GastroPlus\10.2\Tutorials\Absorption Assessment for AI folder and select the project “Absorption Assessment for AI” by clicking on it and clicking Open.
Navigate through the views to familiarize yourself with the assets contained in this project.
Run Simulation “150mg PO Tablet” and observe the poor prediction.
Click on the AssessmentsPlus™ view in the navigation pane and then click on Add. Switch the Assessment type from Compound to Simulation, enter the name “Absorption for AI”, and click on OK or press Enter.
Select PO for the Simulation Type and ensure that the selections for Simulation, Mode, and Scenario are as below.
Click on Assess and review the feedback.
At the bottom of the feedback table click on Copy for AssessmentsPlus™AI.
Below the Copy for AssessmentsPlus™AI button, click on Launch AssessmentsPlus™AI.
Paste your JSON content and then either click outside of the box or press Ctrl+Enter to apply.
Click on Run assessment then review the AI Summary, AssessmentsPlus™ Output, and Recommendations. Click on each section to expand it.
The AI Summary provides an overview of the simulation highlighting that the underprediction is driven by the permeability. This is followed by plots of the Cp-time profiles and assessment of absorption and systemic disposition, including plots not available by default in GastroPlus®.
The AssessmentsPlus™ Output organizes the pearls of wisdom from GastroPlus® into individual sections for Setup, Actionable, Comparison, and Descriptive advice.
Recommendations highlights the next key steps such as reviewing the permeability, with the opportunity to Ask Chatbot to help you with what to do next. For example, ask the chatbot “How do I optimize permeability in GastroPlus?”.
Return to GastroPlus® to act on the advice. Note that an Input Permeability of 4.2e-05cm/s will give a good prediction.
