Getting started with GastroPlus (GPX.2)

To get up and running with GastroPlus (GPX.2), visit the Getting Started with GastroPlus guide. There you’ll find:

Information about GastroPlusGPT: GastroPlusChat, Data Extractor and AssessmentsPlus™AI

GastroPlusGPT™ is a suite of AI-enabled tools intended to support users working with GPX™. It includes the following components:

GastroPlusChat™ is an AI-powered assistant within the GastroPlusGPT suite, designed to help users quickly access insights from GastroPlus® documentation and tutorials. It provides instant answers to technical and procedural questions related to the GastroPlus®X (GPX™) software ecosystem.

The Data Extractor is an AI-powered table and plot digitizer within the GastroPlusGPT™ suite. It enables users to extract structured, machine-readable data from images of tables and plots, automating the digitization process of scientific and pharmacokinetic data.

AssessmentsPlus™AI is an AI-powered enhancement to the AssessmentsPlus™ module in GastroPlus®X. It is designed to take the output from AssessmentsPlus™ and provide a report-friendly summary, visualization of key compound properties and simulation results, and a set of recommendations for improving your model or drug product. It also contains a chatbot which can answer questions about your compound and simulation, or give instructions on how to implement any recommendations in GastroPlus®X.

Reprise Licensing

GPX.2 now uses Reprise instead of Flexera for licensing. Contact your business development representative or sales@simulations-plus.com to upgrade your license. After obtaining a Reprise license, follow the installation instructions below.

Upgrading Custom Templates

The Simulations Plus templates have been upgraded to run in GPX.2, but Custom templates are required to be upgraded by the user using the following steps:

  • Create a new project using the template

  • Save the new project

  • Save the newly created project as a template

Using ADMET Predictor in GPX.1 post GPX.2 install

After installation of GPX.2, navigate to GPX 10.1 installation folder and create a copy of the following file as a back-up: pHSol.dll. Then navigate to GPX 10.2 installation folder, copy pHSol.dll and place it in the 10.1 folder. ADMET Predictor can then be used in both GPX versions.
