Lumenal Degradation

Chemical or metabolic lumenal degradation is a process that is characterized by measured data that illustrates how the drug is degrading. The data is interpolated from an input table of degradation rate (% /min or % /hr) or half-life (min or hr) versus pH. At any time point in any compartment, the degradation rate constant is calculated for the local pH, and the loss of material through chemical degradation is the degradation rate constant multiplied by the amount of dissolved material in the compartment.
